I have over 20 years of nursing experience, from CNA to RN to FNP. Fields I have provided care in include long term care facilities, assisted care facilities, wound care units in intermediate care facilities, Pediatric ICU, tissue and organ procurement, primary care offices, home care in the form of housecalls for insurance companies, and as a disease manager and health consultant. The course I have walked has allowed me to practice the knowledge I have obtained and has given me expert experience in active listening and providing care for my patients in the much needed area of what my patient's concerns are and where they are in their lifestyle then meshing it with evidence based practice and guidances.
