This position is currently responsible for processing 4 different types of pay groups. Responsible for processing weekly payroll for office employees.Responsible for processing weekly BRT Company drivers payroll. Responsible for processing all weekly owner operator and carriers settlement payments weekly. Prepare weekly tax wires and file maintenance.Weekly and monthly payroll report balancing.Prepare all end of month reports for 4 different pay groups. Manage all employee attendance via time clock and attendance books.Manage employee vacation,sick & spsl allocations.Prepare all Federal and State Quarterly reports for all states. (Ca, Wa, Or, Az.) Process Federal and State year end reports and W-2’s for employees and employer tax filings. Process any employee garnishments.Keep employee files up to date with any necessary payroll information. Process company driver vacation checks on anniversary dates. Process employee final payroll and vacation checks upon departure or termination. Audit all settlements for weekly payments to all carriers. Verify carrier pay option and W-9 information.Create trailer fuel deduction report and input weekly deductions for all drivers in trailer fuel program. Manage tchecks sent out of expenses. Process 1099’s for all owner operators and carriers. Set up Factoring companies once NOA received.Set up direct deposit for all payees to be more efficient. Send weekly ACH to the bank. Provide management with comprehensive payroll reports updates, information, suggestions, and feedback and concerns related to the payroll process and current employees as needed.
