As an HR Services Manager for Holland America Line, I served crew members on board our fleet of 12 cruise ships. I was responsible for managing the travel and documentation of over 800 crew members and ensuring they were in compliance with all company and international standards. I was also responsible for managing the Crew Welfare budget and organizing a monthly calendar of activities and events to keep the crew happy and excited to be on board. My supervisors frequently commended me for my ability to mediate across departments.
