I am a self-motivated individual looking for an opportunity to work in an organization that focuses on the quality of life for individuals and families. My past experiences in assisting children with special needs, studying abroad, and working with refugee families has led me to explore jobs to promote pathways of success for individuals and families. My current position, working with children with social emotional disturbances, has been rewarding, thus leading me to begin exploring other career options in the behavioral health field. Working as a paraprofessional for children with special needs has given me the skills of being a problem solver during unexpected situations, understanding that research based methods do work, and that being a consistent role model is critical. These experiences have given me the skills and knowledge to enter a career to assist the well-being of individuals and groups.
