I coach competitive and recreational gymnastics programs. I am passionate about creating an inclusive gymnastics curriculum that promotes students' motor learning and self-confidence. I work to facilitate a positive, safe learning environment for young gymnasts.

I studied the molecular and anatomical artifacts of epilepsy in a murine model of Tuberous Sclerosis Complex. I produced immunohistochemistry data to investigate altered astrocyte function and morphology in TSC. I presented on the topics of markers of astrogliosis, astrocyte dysfunction in the epileptic brain, and comparative image analysis.

I studied the airway epithelium, using human primary organoids to model mechanisms of airway damage in chronic neutrophilic lung disease. I designed both cell-based and cell-free experiments to investigate the dynamic changes in the diseased airway. I presented the current treatments and clinical outcomes of bronchiectasis, aiming to provide a patient-centered context for my research carried out on the lab bench.
