I am junior at the University of Washington double majoring in Environmental Science and Political Science. Throughout my studies, I have engaged in various projects, including a research initiative focused on marine protected areas in my hometown, Palos Verdes, California. I also interned with Waste Management, where I assisted in educating the Seattle public about local recycling guidelines and encouraged healthier sustainability practices. I am particularly interested in exploring the intersection of environmental law and policy, with a goal of pursuing a legal career that champions sustainable practices and equitable solutions. My previous experience in the environmental field has furthered my passion for the subject and has carried over to my studies. At the University of Washington I am affiliated with UW Washpirg; an environmental student organization devoted to addressing local ecological issues. Moreover, my past environmental work has carried over to my studies and furthered my passion for the field.
