I am a student currently enrolled in the First Peoples Aviation Program at FNTI, and am working towards my instrument rating. I have already obtained my Commercial Pilot's License with a multi-engine rating and my first three years of education with FNTI. I am an Indigenous woman from Curve Lake First Nation. I believe that as an Indigenous Woman it is my duty to act as a role model for Indigenous youth and contribute to dissolving the negative stereotypes and ideas that others have about Indigenous Peoples. Moving forward I am excited to explore and learn all that aviation has to offer all while maintaining my cultural practices and community involvement.
