My Husband loves cattle and loves to show cattle. Through three years of 4-H, him and members of my club have provided me with the opportunity to love cattle as well. The business orchestrates hand-picked genetics and breeding to try to raise the perfect show calf. This industry allows for hands on experience and demonstrates determination of us as young people in Agriculture! We also sell beef - to quote Kyle’s Grandpa Jim Hale, “We eat the best, and sell the rest”

My responsibilities include staff requisitions, create Job Posting, post job, manage LinkedIn, distribute and re-created hire package, collect forms from employees, conduct reference checks, Earned Days Off Online Tracker specialist, caretaker and office vacation, retirement inquiries, vacation inquiries, substitute approvals, CUPE seniority, benefit inquiries and assist in implementation of our new Employee Onboarding System, and any additional HR projects that come my way!

On a temporary contract, I was an all-in-one service officer that will provide fast, efficient, and simple processing for all Federal Government programs. Some examples are: Employment Insurance, Canada Pension Plan, Old Age Security, SIN applications, Birth Certificates, and the Summer Student program. After 8 weeks of training in Saskatoon, I was located out of the Humboldt office and was traveling to Wynyard, Prince Albert, Saskatoon and Melfort.

My responsibility is to relationship build, expand and retain deposits, investments, trust and loan business by providing financial service solutions and alternatives to members, customers, and prospective clients. I will be a generalist with well-rounded education and knowledge in all Conexus Credit Union products, services, investments, and cards.

- Produce original research in rural sustainability, small business management, and the small town bar industry- Prepare and present an honours research paper and poster under the supervision of Professor Isobel Findlay, M.A, Ph. D.

- Campus tours for students, parents, academic advisors, special guests, and Alumni- Performed data entry and filing in Admissions, International Admissions, and Student Central- Recruit, train, and evaluate new SA’s for approximately one month every year

Student Ambassador - helped organize Student Orientation for two years, call outs, filed for Admissions and International Admissions and conducted On-Campus tours. I always tailored my tours to what the guest wanted to see for the ultimate first experience on-campus. I trained a number of new Student Ambassadors.Student Triage Assistant - Provide coverage at Triage, the reception desk in the Administration Building. I was responsible for booking people in to see Student Central Officers and/or Admissions, DSS, Awards, Open Studies, etc. I have good knowledge of the university and its services as, quite often, I have to point people to the right office or building (i.e. where to go to get a student card, where to find academic advisors)
