While we may each be the heroes of our own stories, sometimes we need help telling them.A former editor-in-chief, I now serve as a freelance writer and editor who tells the stories of people, companies and conglomerates. Notable clients include nonprofits like the Alzheimer’s Association, New York City Chapter, for which I served as the copy editor for years, to Hollywood luminaries like an Emmy winner who recently called my writing “platinum.” Writing speeches, ghostwriting blog entries and books, editing resumes and websites, copywriting magazine articles and copyediting newsletters comprise my livelihood. Meanwhile I breathe new life into every document I touch. Along the way, I have contributed to dozens of newspapers and magazines, such as New York, Gotham, Los Angeles Confidential, SpaFinder, Oprah and InStyle. Writing profiles, restaurant reviews, features and spreads all are second nature to me. Yet I’m equally adept at polishing the copy of others as an editor.My most recent enterprise? Becoming an author. The author of Downward Mule, I am under contract for two additional children's books. While they are under production, I am busy regaling children at schools and business from indie bookstores to Barnes & Nobles, as well as yoga studios, toy stores even UBS Bank for Take Our Kids to Work Day. Of course, editing and copywriting for clients continues to keep things interesting! It’s all in a day’s work for a devoted writer-editor-author who relishes making the world's stories shine.
