I was employed by the Confederation of Australian Motor Sport (CAMS) as the Sport Development and Administration Officer for Tasmania. I was the sole CAMS staff member in Tasmania and ran the state office. My role was primarily club relationship management along with coordinating the State Council, State Executive and Panels including meeting agendas, teleconferencing and face to face participation. I organised and executed the annual Tasmanian Motor Sports Awards Dinner and various other events including participation-boosting Come and Try Days, as well as administration such as licencing and log book transfers.I left this role after having my first child when I made the decision to focus solely on my growing family.

I was employed at Wrest Point Hotel Casino on a full-time basis, as an Event Coordinator. My primary duties included coordinating external meetings and events, as well as internal events, using a reservation system called Opera. I have organised events ranging from private weddings to corporate conferences. The largest events that I organised and ran were the 2012 Wrest Point Melbourne Cup Luncheon and the Local Government Association of Tasmania Conference, which comprised of a conference, trade show and gala dinner. In my role I also look after entertainment, organising many requirements from the initial booking through to their backstage riders and other various requests. In my previous role at Wrest Point as an Administration Assistant prior to my promotion, I was responsible for multiple office duties including supporting the Event Coordinators with a variety of requests and assistance, handling the telephones, creating menus and signage, processing deposits, stationery ordering, completing various reports and compiling and distributing internal and external event sheets across the property each week.
