I craft visual stories for clients in the education, small business and non-profits. I get a hand in each project from pre-production to post. Working with clients on the front end on story concept and possible interview and b-roll opportunities. I shoot on a Canon EOS C100 while conducting on-camera conversations with key stockholders. Final Cut Pro X is my editor of choice for all stages of post production, from logging interviews to the final audio and color touches. As a one-person crew, I shoot, write and edit all my stories. I assist in selecting stories for broadcast, researching, writing and gathering newscast content. Most importantly, I strive to tell stories that matter to our community. ABC 6 News, the Hubbard Broadcasting ABC affiliate is based in Rochester and Austin, Minnesota.

St. Cloud, Minnesota

My time at St. Cloud State was spent working for UTVS News. My first priority was reporting which meant coming up with newsworthy story ideas that would interest the surrounding community, conducting interviews, editing and writing news packages. I also solo anchored the UTVS News midday show and directed the nightly show once a week. UTVS News is St. Cloud State University's student-run news station and St. Cloud's only local news station. It reaches a potential 35,000 households.
