I am a lifelong learner skilled at implementing research-based, trauma-informed practices in the classroom. As a teacher-leader, I am committed to mentoring teachers with academic and behavioral best practices at the forefront. I am skilled at providing teachers with empowerment, classroom structure, and regulatory strategies that help facilitate equitable education. Currently pursuing a doctoral degree, I am skilled in conducting research and data analysis. I am also experienced in classroom management, curriculum development, and implementing effective standard-based lessons to achieve student growth outcomes. My expertise in classroom management, combined with an understanding of the effects of trauma on students, and ability to apply critical thinking to the classroom, aids me in creating a structured classroom environment. Additionally, I am passionate about creating an educational environment where students feel safe and valued, and teachers feel supported with a high level of self-efficacy.
