▫ Strategic business planning and budgeting/forecasting – simulation of various business scenarios with realistic trading assumptions, provide inputs and recommendations to Managing Director. Includes looking at organizational structure and how we can streamline in view of our fast-changing business environment▫ Prepare and maintain weekly revenue pipeline report, monthly forecasts, annual budgets which includes commentaries and variance analysis▫ Prepare operational and P&L narratives with Managing Director for regional leadership calls▫ Partner with business leads to review client contracts and Statement of Work, including liaison with client’s procurement/legal if required▫ Assist in project pricing assessment and annual rate card review▫ Perform staff utilisation and profitability review for client projects, and provide inputs to the business team from finance perspective and highlighting risks if any▫ Review P&L and balance sheet, identifying material variances vs forecast and articulating the results to the Managing Director and regional leadership

▫ GL Accountant in-charge of LEGO Shanghai, the largest trading entity in APAC regional hub▫ Provide support to the Senior Finance Manager and to business/stakeholders to ensure all journals are timely and accurately processed to enable meaningful financial reporting▫ Business travels to local sites (Beijing & Shanghai) to drive and assist local statutory and tax audits, and ensuring annual/statutory accounts are completed and submitted on time▫ Work closely with Global Reporting team based at headquarters, to prepare and submit monthly/quarterly Group Reporting packs▫ Work closely with market controllers to aid and improve month end analysis for both teams (market finance team and GL team)▫ LEGO Continuous Improvement (LCI, LEAN program) – facilitate /chair LCI meetings for the team as a facilitator, gather/address feedbacks from the team, provide support and recommendations to the team and implement improvements along the way▫ Lead LCI projects and work with business stakeholders from within and outside our department to eliminate non-value adding activities and improve business processes to drive better efficiency and simplicity (e.g. alignment of roles and responsibilities)

▫ Analyze revenue and expenses for the business unit, perform variance analysis between actuals versus budget/forecasts by providing analysis and commentary▫ Perform P&L phasing and provide support to the Senior Finance Manager during budgeting and forecasting periods▫ Meet with Managing Director and Account Directors for monthly revenue tracking ▫ Follow up with the client servicing team monthly to clear and close off WIP (work in progress) ▫ Invoice clients timely, prepare vendor payments, process staff claims which includes detailed checking of expenses being claimed▫ Maintain GL accounts and prepare balance sheet schedules and reports for monthly and quarterly reporting which includes consolidation of different P&Ls and balance sheet from different divisions▫ Assist in SOX and external statutory audits

▫ Perform GL duties namely keying in of shipboard accounts, prepare month-end reports for submission to owners (including submission of accounts onto Cognos system) and update reconciliations▫ Answer owners’ queries on the accounts submitted▫ Assist in the preparation of audit and answer audit queries▫ Assist the vessel controller for monthly fund requests to owners▫ Perform AP duties which includes liaising with suppliers/agents for outstanding payments and processing of advances and CTMs (cash to master)▫ Clean up open POs and prepare remittance for off-signing crew

▫ Collection of receipts and update them into the system▫ Credit control includes preparation of debtors aging report and reporting them to the management regarding their credit issues▫ Monthly batch and ad-hoc invoicing▫ Perform month-end closing of accounts▫ Prepare and lodge vacancy claims for property taxes, and file objections of annual values to Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS)▫ Report revised annual values of properties to the management▫ Prepare daily reports for the board of directors
