Indianapolis, Indiana Area

As the GOAL Case Manager, I build relationships with homeless high school students and help them make goals to graduate, to get a job, and a permanent address. Ultimately, our goal through building relationships is to create lasting life transformation and stability.

I traveled to 11 countries in 11 months with a missions organization called the World Race. In each country we partnered with ministries such as a home for abandoned infants, teaching english, working in orphanages and feeding centers, putting on kids camps, and manual labor. Through this year of missions work, I’ve come to understand the world differently.

I organized Russell Construction’s 25th Annual Charity Golf Outing where $37,500 was raised for the American Cancer Society. I planned groundbreakings, worked on the website, wrote news stories, created the quarterly newsletter, and handled new employee tasks.

Sydney, Australia

I ran training sessions for new employees and helped to revamp training process. I organized and researched travel trips for fundraising teams and applied for permits for fundraisers. I also interviewed potential employees over the phone and scheduled interviews.

Rock Island, IL

I organized the annual “Lifesaver Campaign” and several other fundraisers. I also maintained social media and expanded technology. I wrote and redesigned the newsletter, and worked on several different projects for different departments of the nonprofit.
