I am an Environmental Engineer in Training at Stantec in Calgary, AB and I am part of the Assessment, Permitting, and Compliance team in Environmental Services. I began my professional career in Stantec’s Water group as a design engineer and project coordinator on a variety of municipal water conveyance projects. I was engaged in preliminary and detailed design of deep utilities, erosion and sediment control plan design and site inspections, and the preparation of technical design memos, technical specifications, proposals, and more. In my current role, I am involved in project management and regulatory support for environmental assessment, permitting, and regulatory compliance programs, primarily for pipeline construction projects in various sectors. I have experience in the preparation of environmental and socioeconomic assessments, environmental constraints analyses, permit applications, and environmental protection plans and alignment sheets. I have overseen environmental construction support services and coordinated biophysical fieldwork on pipeline projects require to adhere to permit conditions. Through my experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and managing project deliverables and scope, I have demonstrated I am an effective communicator with clients and colleagues. I have an approachable demeanour, positive attitude, excellent attention to detail, and a consistent desire to learn new skills.
