My name is Jenna Strozewski. I graduated from the University at Buffalo (UB) in May 2024 with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. While at UB, I established and grew my passion for Psychology and Neuroscience. I’m also planning to complete the UB Accelerated Nursing Program in the near future, with the intention of completing the DNP program to become a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. This fall, I am completing a micro-credential in Biotechnology with a concentration in Cannabis Science at Erie Community College (ECC) during my gap year.Outside of the classroom, I spend much of my time working. Since November 2021, I’ve been a Direct Support Professional (DSP) at People Inc., where I’ve focused on behavior management and direct patient care. I support my residents with daily tasks, hobbies and interests, communicating and socializing, and managing their behaviors. I'm med-certified under our RN, so I also prepare and pass medications and take vitals.Prior to this role, I worked at Solstice Senior Living as a Server, Lead Server, and Vibrant Life Assistant from April 2018 to December 2021. I spent my time learning and improving critical skills in customer service, food service, and elder care. Not only that, but I gained foundational skills in nursing, dietary and nutrition, and direct patient care.I’m always happy to connect with like-minded Psychology, Neuroscience, Behavioral Health, and Nursing professionals!
