As a case manager at Barasch & McGarry, I help the 9/11 community access health care and compensation for their injuries and illnesses. I use my data analysis, organization, and communication skills to manage multiple cases, track progress, and generate reports. I also collaborate with lawyers, medical providers, and government agencies to ensure the best outcomes for our clients.My passion for public and environmental health stems from my academic background and research experience. I have a Master of Public Health degree from Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health, where I studied environmental health sciences with a certificate in climate and health. I was a graduate teaching assistant for three courses on the determinants of health, public health impacts of climate change, and the integration of science and practice. I also conducted spatial analysis of pollution and its effects on ecological systems and human health, using R, QGIS, and ArcGIS. My goal is to apply my knowledge and skills to address the systemic issues and challenges that affect the health and well-being of people and the planet.
