Documentary Videographer/Editor for the Mars Public Engagement team helping capture and create Mars stories/videos. My primary responsibility is to document major mission milestones for the Mars missions, and the stories of the men and women engaged in the robotic exploration of Mars. Mission activities include those of the upcoming Mars Sample Return set of missions, Mars 2020 Perseverance rover and Mars Helicopter, among others, and take place in cleanrooms, labs and other facilities both on lab at JPL and offsite at various test locations. Responsible for identifying and pursuing filming opportunities, maintaining contact with essential mission personnel, and planning, scheduling, directing, lighting, shooting interviews, capturing b-roll and editing footage.
