I am being HONORED as one of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Kansas City's Most Wanted Auction Honorees! As an honoree, I will be part of the Most Wanted Auction on Saturday, December 14th. My job is to gather silent auction items, foster corporate sponsorships, sell tickets, collect donations, and organize a once-in-a-lifetime auction package to be auctioned.There are many opportunities for contributions and every tiny bit helps, so reach out to me and see how you can help me help show these kids the potential they have. As the alumni relations and youth football intern with the Kansas City Chiefs I performed many tasks to further the community outreach efforts of the organization. Daily tasks include contacting alumni, organizations and current players to organize events. Organizing the Chiefs Ambassadors gala, golf tournament and meetings are the some of the main events on alumni piece of this position, while weekly community outreach events also required attention from the entire outreach department.

My time with Missouri State Sports Marketing was one that has provided many different job positions and many experiences. As I accumulated more time with the organization I also acquired more responsibility. The beginning of my time with Missouri State began as a game day staff intern. This position included: handing out programs at football, basketball and baseball games, setting up in game promotions and finding contestants, distributing posters and schedule cards around campus and the Springfield area and running the Boomers kids club.By the later part of my time with Missouri State I had many more responsibilities which included: Creating the staff schedule for interns, supervising intern staff in running individual sports, working with coaches and staff to create a marketing plan for the upcoming seasons, executing all aspects of Bearfest Village - MSU's tailgating area, planning all media food, contacting and organizing Honorees and ball kids, helping with decisions on poster creation and intro videos and many other small and large day to day activities that keep our marketing department functioning.

As a Public Relations Intern for Northwestern Mutual Financial Network my primary goal was to discover well rounded, driven students and present them with the possibility of beginning a top ten internship. I used communication skills in a person to person setting, over the phone setting and email to inform and persuade possible candidates to meet with the director of selection.

As a junior associate with the Springfield Cardinals I took part in many aspects of running a minor league baseball game. In the office setting I sold tickets and group packages and also answer phone calls, answering any questions that may be asked by customers. During game day I would perform one of many tasks including: Running in-game promotions, passing out promotional items at gates, working guest relations, player autographs, working the front office desk, handing out promo club membership items and taking group photos and sending them to group members. Everything done revolved around keeping guests entertained and happy at Hammons Field
