She had to deal with the transition of a new coaching staff coming into her college program and handled that transition like a true professional. Jenna served as a team captain for us that year and did an exceptional job being a mentor to some of the younger players in our program and held some of the older players accountable throughout the year. She provided a great link between our coaching staff and the team, and that is something the best captains provide. It is unfortunate we didn't have more time to work with Jenna because I think she would have been a great asset for us in our time at NIU.
