Upon completing my studies in Applied Business Technology at UFV, I pursued an internship at MNP in Abbotsford. During this internship I was able to hone my skills and put them into real life practice. During my time there I sought out the opportunity to work at StructureCraft as their receptionist. I am the smiling face that greets each client that steps into our office. I make sure coffee is flowing every day and that the treats are plentiful to keep everyone motivated. Since I have been here, I have changed our visitor sign in process from paper to digital using a QR code for ease of signing in when coming to our office. I also have created excel workbooks to track our office inventory to ensure we are making good use of the items we provide. I have been able to use past skills from my tourism studies and event management in this position. Whether it is helping business development book flights and accommodations for conferences or setting up a staff BBQ to celebrate our hard work as a team! I am excited to continue to develop my administrative skills as I continue in my career.
