Emergency Service, 2009-2010: Crisis management focus with patients and family who were experiencing emergency situations. Collaboration with outside Emergency Medical Services personnel, law enforcement, and community organizations. Focus on domestic violence evaluations in addition to trauma.Trauma Service, 2010-2015: Level one trauma social work participating in multi-disciplinary rounding, collaborative huddle patient management, and crisis interventions with patients and families. Participation in the Mild Traumatic Brain Injury Clinic (indigent) monthly, providing counseling and resource management. Psychosocial assessments for domestic violence, victim's of crime, and coping relative to traumatic injury such as spinal cord injury or traumatic brain injury.Complex Care Service, 2015-2020: Post-acute care management with a focus on patient care navigation in collaboration with the Vanderbilt Health Affiliated Network and community providers. Consultation to acute and post-acute care teams for coordination of care to reduce re-admission risk and re-hospitalization where appropriate with a focus of program development and enhanced care.
