Currently, I hold the position of Business Risk and Controls Manager in the Deposits and Payments sector at Simmons Bank. My primary objective is to empower the initial lines of defense in risk management to pinpoint potential failure points, assess the probability of such failures, and implement or reinforce controls. Additionally, my role involves recognizing work processes that might be over-controlled despite having lower-risk elements, as well as identifying teams or procedures that could profit from process enhancement opportunities. My aspiration is to facilitate a cohesive dialogue and collaboration among the different business lines, risk, compliance, and internal controls, using a unified language.

I manage the Quality Assurance Department for Hancock Whitney Bank. I work closely with assigned test leads, project managers, LOB leads, and product owners to develop test plans. I provide a quality assurance eye on requirements and am continually working to make testing easier and more efficient in our organization. I have a team of test automation engineers who have been focused on the digital space and are exploring new opportunity in the enterprise. I work closely with Release Management and Resource Management as well as our PMO.I manage a team of 6 internal, badged associates and 9 contracted resources My division consists of automation engineers, testing managers, and manual testers. Our company outsources most of our IT applications and software so these metrics allow mymanagement to hold vendors accountable for code quality, keeping contract dollars stabilized, and ensuring service levels are met. I reach beyond testing and work with various lines of business and IT teams on continuous improvement initiatives I lead the testing program for a $35B asset-sized bank, manage people, and projects, anddo administrative work like program procedures, best practices, and budgeting

Within the five years on this team, I performed back-end SIT and Unit Testing for major payment systems like Deluxe's TRIPS Day 2, and Incoming Returns module, Bottomline COLB Treasury platform, BAI2, ACH, GFX, and Analysis interface files and transfers, Positive Pay, Fiserv's Treasury Access, Jack Henry's Agiletics, and Wolter's Kluwer's CRA Wiz, Within the last two years I served as a team lead and helped bridge the gap in support for the Treasury Services team at Hancock Whitney Bank. I developed their support plans, structure, and started system and process documentation repositories. I worked on many process improvement initiatives we called "Big Wins" in our company and was the "PM/Lead" assigned to SWAT team initaitives.

I worked as a contractor to assist a Bank with the deployment of their Consumer Lending platform until I was asked to come back to my company.

I served as the PM/Lead for quarterly releases of our sales and fulfillment platform. I spent the majority of the time in this role writing a business case for what would be our largest project at the company to come. I also served as a UI, UAT tester on our Online Account Opening product and worked through the deployment and command center. I served on Agile proof of concept teams, led scrum meetings, and got an Agile Scrum Master certification through Simplilearn.

I worked in the Project Management office and served as PM on many regulatory, IT, and run the bank initiatives. I worked with other PMs to help advance and mature the PMO and it's artifact documents and processes. I have the natural ability to organize and pull together teams and operate in the gray. I demonstrated my ability to work on difficult projects and in difficult teams and see those initiatives through to completion.

Wrote policy procedure, assisted in audits of operations and vault, graded operations staff call, and sought out and implemented process improvements. Did this in Deposit Operations, Call Center, ACH/Wire, Payment and Items Processing.
