At Aecon, I excelled in building and nurturing partnerships with post-secondary institutions across Canada, enhancing our recruitment efforts for co-ops, internships, and placements. I streamlined operational processes, serving as the go-to expert for all post-secondary matters and presenting innovative partnership opportunities to senior leadership. I organized and attended recruitment events as well as researched events for Aecon to attend. I created and maintained an organization wide spread sheet to ensure proper representation at all events. Additionally, I assisted with conducting market research to align Aecon's compensation with industry standards.

Due to my success as a recruiter with SE Health, I was promoted to a Senior Recruiter within one year of employment. In this role I supported three recruiters as well as recruited for corporate roles, co-ops and placements. I created and ran a team of internal frontline staff who were advocates for SE Heaths brand, and would attend job fairs with the recruitment team to ensure we had the expertise we required at events. I was selected by Senior Leadership to lead a team of recruiters during a two week trip to Alberta. I was able to successfully manage eight job fairs over the two week period, contributing to additional business opportunities for SE Health. I was also responsible for supervising the day to day operations of the recruitment team, including planning team training sessions and morale boosting activities. During my time at SE Health, I attended countless job fairs throughout Canada, improving the organization's overall branding.

During my time as a recruiter for SE Health I completed full cycle recruitment from prescreening, to drafting and sending offers. I mainly supported recruitment for our internal HSW/PSW Program and created many processes to stream line and create efficiency for the team. I attended countless job fairs and became the subject matter expert for all inquires both internally and externally regarding our HSW/PSW Program. In this role, I conducted recruitment throughout majority of Ontario and consistently exceeded recruitment and job responsibility expectations. I was also an active member of the social committee.

During my placement with Best Western Plus Bowmanville I revised many employee forms including time off request sheets, time sheets, complainant and witness forms. I re-wrote the employee manual as well as revised and updated the employee safety manual. I also completed research to create screening tools to simplify the recruitment process for vacant roles within the company. I completed full cycle recruitment for vacant roles within the hotel by screening resumes, conducting interviews, as well as assisting with the onboarding process. Lastly, I assisted with providing a health and safety training seminar to all staff.

During my time as an Administrator for Tribute Communities, my responsibilities included writing agreements of purchase and sales, dealing with confidential paper work for all purchasers and creating amendments. I was also responsible for communicating with customers in person, over email or the phone with my knowledge of my current site.

During my time at Premium Retail Services as a Chromebook Sales Specialist, I worked in a Best Buy store promoting Chromebooks to customers. I educated customers and retail staff in the store about the benefits of Chromebooks. I was also responsible for merchandising and maintaining a clean display to appeal to customers. As a Chromebook Sales Specialist, I was able to go above and beyond sales expectations during the busiest season of the year. I worked tirelessly to ensure that retail staff in my location were knowledgeable on the features of Chromebooks, resulting in increased sales. I consistently sold products to meet customer’s needs to ensure total customer satisfaction.

As a bartender and waitress at East Side Mario’s, I was responsible for safely and accurately serving customers. I regularly worked busy nights and ensured successful dinner service. I also completed other tasks, such as maintaining the dining room.During my time with East Side Marios, I was successfully promoted from a waitress to a bartender due to success in upselling and exceptional customer service. I regularly received positive customer experience surveys. I was responsible for training new waitstaff and trained multiple new servers into successful waitstaff.

As an employee at Walmart, I have worked multiple positions. I worked as a cashier, worked in customer service, in various departments (grocery, electronics) and fitting rooms. I have been responsible for providing excellent customer service, ensuring clean and orderly displays and answering/redirecting phone calls for the entire store. I currently work as a sales associate in the electronics department.

As a volunteer HR Coordinator for Quantumrun I am involved in full cycle recruiting, including posting jobs to a variety of different job sites, sourcing candidates, interviewing and selecting candidates for a variety of roles. I also participate in onboarding new hires.
