Reporting to the Service Director and Senior Responsible Officer (SRO) of the National Police Wellbeing Service I lead the long term strategic communication, engagement and digital plans for the service.Responsible for developing and executing an outcome focused, integrated multi-channel marketing and communications programme in line with the core strategic objectives of the service to engage users, promote wellbeing and to provoke discussion, debate and learning.Leading internal communications within the team to ensure a joined up and effective communications approach and shape service delivery. Responsible for the security of the Oscar Kilo website, the content management and the data that it holds ensuring compliance with Data Protection and GDPR regulations.Responsible for recruitment to the communications and engagement function with strong leadership skills developed through leading colleagues and multiple stakeholders through change and adopting new models to work to.Operating in a complex and changing environment involving multiple organisations, I have established effective working relationships to ensure the stability and sustainability of the Oscar Kilo brand.Responsible for organisation and hosting of our annual national conference and online learning events. Creating partnership and stakeholder communications plans alongside community forums around significant policing operations and events. Led on the operational communications strategy for a large-scale protest, resulting in a partner agency referring to the plan as ‘inspirational’.Managing and developing several social media accounts.
