A creative and digitally-savvy culinary media professional, I am a food and cooking expert, editor, writer, wine and spirits columnist, and recipe developer. I am the author of the cookbooks Bare Minimum Dinners, Baby-Led Feeding, Real Baby Food and Smoothie-licious, all published by Harper Collins/HMH. I have extensive live TV and video experience, including appearances on the Today show and a brand-sponsored satellite media tour.As Food Director at Real Simple (Dotdash Meredith), I oversee all culinary content in the magazine, including an expansive recipe feature each month, a wine and spirits column, a technique column, a newsy mix, and other recipe columns. My day-to-day responsibilities include extensive writing, top editing, recipe development, and the execution of high-priority stories and updates for RealSimple.com. I work closely with the sales and marketing departments to ideate and execute programs that meet our clients' needs, and I regularly represent the brand at client meetings. I also appear in cooking and food videos for digital, social, and virtual events. At Parents and Health, my responsibilities included editing a monthly cooking column, seasonal food stories, and numerous other food features. I also edited food content for Parents.com, including the blog Scoop on Food, which regularly generated high page views for the site. My other responsibilities include spearheading product round-ups and representing Parents and Health on brand-targeted editorial roundtables. Through my company, Rosaberry, I manage a team of personal chefs who cook for private clients in New York City. Prior to joining the Meredith Corporation, I was head of development at Engel Entertainment (EE), an Emmy Award-winning non-fiction production company. I continue to consult at EE, scouting talent, working with the development team, and advising the president.I live in Brooklyn New York with my family and adorable dog Pepper. In my free time I'm an avid mystery reader and on a mission to try every (good) croissant in New York City.
