Co-leads organization's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion committee to further our mission to continuously assess and confirm that our practices are inclusive, insightful, and supportive.

- Plan and execute activities promoting authentic family engagement through education and the normalization of developmental screening tools. - Convene with state and high level professionals to ensure accurate and relevant information is being disseminated to families. - Provide technical assistance and services to the early childcare education workforce with the primary focus of growing engagement within the respected community. - Ensure that families are receiving the necessary services and adequate childcare through the promotion and collection of quarterly needs assessment surveys.

Worked as a learning support teacher at Smedley Elementary. Partnered with a core 3rd grade teacher and supported the students primarily in the area of reading. Was given a group of students below grade level and provided small group instruction with the support of a teacher leader. Made weekly lesson plans and tracked student data. With the onset of COVID-19, instruction moved to online and through Zoom, students received lessons and guided support to complete assignments. Much of the second semester was checking-in with families to ensure they received necessary information, materials, and technology to help students achieve academic success despite a health crisis.

- Oriented new volunteers through presentations and group sessions to initiate the enrollment process. -- Assisted with recruitment of new volunteers through community resource fairs, outreach, and social media marketing. - Conducted interviews of all participants including volunteers, children, and parents/guardians while providing child safety education. Referred families to additional services as needed.- Oversee the completion of volunteer screening that required reference checks, fingerprinting and background checks, and social media screening.- Maintained accurate records on CRM database. - Assessed volunteers and clients through thorough written recommendations and paired 1:1 matches.

- Managed a caseload of college and corporate volunteer partnerships to reach recruitment goals annually. For college partners goals varied between 75-200 volunteers and 15-60 for corporate volunteers. - Recruited college and corporate volunteers through information sessions, tabling opportunities, college and corporate liaisons, and social media marketing.- Coordinated interview schedules off-site at 4 college sites and 7 corporate partners and conducted interviews with written assessments.- Maintained accurate volunteer records on CRM database.

Worked for the Institute on Disabilities and partnered with 3 students as their tutor/mentor. The Institute on Disabilities provided a unique college experience for adult learners with intellectual disabilities. This position provided 1:1 support for the students in an academic and social aspect.
