I work now at Eastern Freightways and I work with the recruitment and customer service as well as the dispatch and I help in many other aspects in the field of the trucking. I learned a lot when I was a Receptionist at Sage Eldercare. I worked with a great team that has Senior Citizens with Dementia and Alzheimer's come to our facility. It is a place that helps the caregivers and clients alike to be able get out of the house a little during the day and engage the mind and body instead of doing nothing during the day. I was able to get certified in Mental Illness First Aid, which will make me able to help others if they are experiencing hard times and able to talk with them to make them feel better. Also I am certified as a Dementia Practitioner. which means I know how to work with people with Dementia and Alzheimer's. I am able to understand to work with them to make their needs known and anticipate other problems they may have.I would like to go back to school perhaps for education in Gerontological social work. I like to work with the elderly and think they deserve people who care for them and can help them with difficult times.I worked in the hotel industry since 2004. First I was at the Hilton Short Hills. I learned alot of different aspects of being in the hotel world:I worked while I went to school for my B.S in Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism Management at Fairleigh Dickinson University, where I graduated in 2008.I went to work at Hamilton Park Hotel and Conference Center after I studied abroad in England.I have worked in many different areas in that hotel. I was a room reservationist, then I worked in housekeeping, after that I worked in Conference Concierge and then to a Front Desk Agent.All positions made me understand fast paced service, delegation and the importance of multi-tasking and attention to detail.Specialties: Guest Service, Front of the House and Back of the House procedures.
