My passion is social justice and equality. I have an undying energy which I am ready to dedicate to an entity whose goal is to better the lives of others. Over the last 10 years I have had many jobs doing all sorts of things (mostly retail and sales), which has taught me how to adapt and wear many different hats at once. I held many volunteer positions giving me opportunity to make an impact in individual lives and communities. Discomfort is where I am the most comfortable and I love a challenge and problem-solving! The essential thing I want in a job is work that will allow me to create meaning for others.Over the past 8+ years:•Co-founded and worked as President, of GRESBUR Specialized Dog Service, in Quito, Ecuador I managed the finances and the sales and marketing departments of the business. Grew the business >50% per year and successfully sold it to my partner. •Worked as head Sales and Reservations Manager in Boutique Hotel Café Cultura, in Quito, Ecuador. Managed all incoming reservations, excursions, bespoke tours, sales, increased room bookings by 50%. •While working in Boutique Hotel Café Cultura I took on the position of Sales and Group Manager of Exclusive Hotels and Haciendas of Ecuador. Organized and led all group meetings and marketing for a group of 8 hotel members around Ecuador. Grew excursion sales by 70%.•Volunteered in the Fundación Pachamama in Ecuador working with indigenous women focusing on family and maternal health. My responsibilities included fundraising, grant writing, and community service project organizing.•Played key role in sales in all of my job experiences.•Developed sales strategies, marketing and deployment plans that resulted in above-market results everywhere I have worked•Traveled extensively worldwide building market and support channels in the US, and Latin America
