Hi, there! I am joining this platform in hopes of connecting with other educators in the central Ohio area. I am interested in building a network for community teaching focused on social justice and social & emotional learning. Let's grow together!I have been in the field of education since 2014, teaching various grade levels in three different districts. I am a student first and love learning alongside children. Though I have taught all core elementary subjects (including PE!), my specialty is in math and science education. Growing up in the 4-H program (Trumbull County, Ohio) has given me an appreciation for community service and outdoor education. I am also in the process of becoming a children's yoga educator. Incorporating these skills - along with lessons from my time at Slippery Rock University and various professional development workshops - allows me to foster development of the whole child in my classroom!
