Interacted and engaged with the next generation, developing maturity in leadership skills with a global scope.The next generation will lead our companies, and future communities. Before they do, Cru trains them with skills to build healthy relationships, leadership skills, and wholistic health to engage in the world beyond university. I worked closely with university students to help them grow and aided in trainings and events which would equip them with the necessary skills to excel post-graduation. From a deep care for others, with grit and tenacity, I led and mentored dozens of students who have now gone on to start businesses, excel in their professions, and lead teams with humility and care for their local communities. Flexibility, adaptability and depth of personality were necessary to succeed with Cru. I’m so thankful for the opportunities Cru afforded me.I saw success in increasing donor development through monthly newsletters, exceeding my funding goals 100% of the time. I increased student involvement through marketing campaigns and streamlined application processes, displaying my sales potential and personality through relational connections. In the summer of 2019, our team saw the largest application pool in its history under my leadership and project management. Through event coordination, I was able to see advancement in my regional Fall Conference to the largest in our program history. That Fall Conference was the most successful, with an increase in attendance by 30%. Coordinating logistics of planning, programming, marketing, communications and hospitality for the event made for a streamlined event, marking and growing my organizational and leadership skills.
