Collaborate on Research Department internal and client research projects. Internal project support includes development of peer-reviewed publications, tasks related to research planning, implementation, and reporting, and more. Assist with strategy-driven research dissemination efforts:- Conduct secondary research and literature searches- Assist with drafting and revising publications for peer-review; assist with conference abstract and presentation deck drafting Assist with strategy-driven and fiscally responsible research planning, implementation, and reporting efforts: - Assist with research instrument and IRB package development- Support the programming, development, and quality control checks of online survey instruments- Assist with data collection logistics, including proper preparation of all necessary materials for data collection (e.g. coordinate and schedule virtual interviews and/or focus groups; coordinate IRB protocol management, filing, and maintenance)- Conduct recruitment of participants and SME/stakeholders for research (e.g. via phone calls, text, email, and online recruitment through social media)- Assist with project implementation tasks, including note-taking, quote-pulling, and support project debriefs- Conduct data entry

Received the Student Award for Public Health Education and Health Promotion for research on "Eliciting theory-based beliefs regarding student perceptions of engaging in bystander intervention to stop sexual harassment” – Presented poster at the American Public Health Association Conference, 2021Assist in research on bystander intervention using the Reason Actioned Approach and methods; tasks performed include audio transcriptions, building surveys, researching/writing information for proposal introductions, and translating qualitative data. Responsible for helping develop and disseminate COVID-19 surveys to campus in Spring 2020. Performed my Senior Project in Fall 2020 by taking on larger role through thorough communication with Dr. Hackman - the head researcher - organizing responsibilities for several peer researchers (communicated and assigned tasks, relayed progress to head researcher), and continuing to develop tools for data analysis and further research.

Assist physical therapist in preparing modalities, guiding clients through exercises, recording notes from evaluations, and practicing proper precautions during COVID-19. Using time management and communication skills to ensure the efficiency and safety of the workplace.

Was given responsibility of creating/writing exercise regimes for patients (in clinic and at home), operating electric stimulation machines on patients, instructing patients on correct form for various exercises on and off weight machines, and was introduced to various methods of manual therapy. Shadowed physical therapist during primary patient consultations to better understand how to effectively diagnose and begin treating a patient based on their symptoms and medical history. Also shadowed regular appointments to better recognize manual therapy methods used to target various injuries in individuals.
