Hello, I'm Jenna Warneke, a proud citizen of the Cherokee Nation and a passionate student at Oklahoma State University. I am pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Design and Merchandising, pursuing Interior Design, following the 4+1 route to commence my master's a year early.My journey is driven by a deep passion for Native American Cultural Sensitive Design and a commitment to give back to my tribal community. I'm diligently working on my undergraduate research project, "Applying Culturally Sensitive Design to Assist Native American Older Adults."In addition to my academic pursuits, I serve as a Student Leader at the Center for Sovereign Nations, a Native American Student Resource Center generously funded by the tribes of Oklahoma. As Vice President of the Native American Student Association and a member of various interior design clubs on campus, I'm dedicated to fostering connections and creating a supportive community for fellow students.My ultimate goal is to seamlessly merge my academic knowledge, research, educational outreach, leadership skills, and design expertise with my cultural roots to make a positive and lasting impact on my community.Let's connect and collaborate to bring culturally sensitive design and meaningful change to the forefront.
