16 years of experience as a grassroots organizer in the Inland Empire region in California, building and managing a rapid response network with over 70 volunteers to support families impacted by immigration enforcement, including an emergency hotline, humanitarian support, legal support and post-detention follow up. Built an immigration bond fund for low income immigrants detained in Adelanto that fundraised over $80,000, an informal immigration bar for Inland Empire legal service providers, as well as a Southern California-wide bond and release representation Coalition. Passionate about abolition in both immigration and criminal contexts, creative at building new strategies and adapting.
