I am a public relations and social media marketing professional with over a decade of experience managing strategic communications for numerous consumer brands including Breakfast Cereals Canada, McCain Foods, Kraft, Unilever, American Express and Indigo Books & Music. I approach each program with enthusiasm, creativity and a team-player attitude allowing for both strong program results and client relationships. I am also an established community manager, launching the Kraft Canada twitter handle, @KraftCanada, in 2011 and managing all day-to-day activities including content development, engagement and building influencer relationships. As an instructor of Social Media in the Humber College Post-Graduate Certificate program I provided valuable information and insights to students about current social media applications in public relations. Highlighting both best-in-class programming and social media pitfalls, students are challenged to critically think about the relevance and importance of social media to the future of public relations.
