Headed the diversity initiatives in San Diego for the Human Rights Campaign's San Diego Steering Committee.Held diversity training's for the local steering committee to that we can examine our own biases and learn and grow from the experiences of others. Also, disseminated information from commissioned studies covering a wide range diversity topics including intersectionality and how we can better serve our diverse communities.Developed local partnerships with national and international organizations. Laid the groundwork for future projects in the area.The work that I'm most proud of was:Built a local coalition from the ground up to hold an event to test pilot HRC's national partnership with the Ya es Hora Campaign.This involved building and heading a local committee of community organizers to assist permanent residents in applying for naturalization.Responsibilities included:- Arrangement of onsite pro-bono advice from immigration attorneys.- Negotiating volunteer commitments from multiple groups such as: the San Diego LGBT Center, Service Employees International Union (SEIU), and the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement department.The success of this event won the San Diego Emerging Community the HRC's Diversity and Inclusion Leaders of the Year (2010) award.

- Developed Predictive Analytics software estimating budgets ranging in the trillions of dollars (USD) to hundreds of millions of dollars requiring talent across of up to six continents.- Designed and implemented real time reporting frameworks that allowed senior executives retrieve data that previously took days or even weeks to manually prepare.- Built rapport with the Project Management and Finance teams throughout the company to better understand their needs.- Spearheaded adoption of modern technologies and developmental methodologies.

Developed the Windows client for Rosco's Keystroke(r) product. This product that I co-invented while at Colorado State University allowed for Theatrical Lighting Consoles to control computers as if they were another lighting instrument.This opened up the power of controlling computers in performance spaces and other timing centric installations. Common adoptions of the product were in Live performance spaces to synchronize control of playback of video, presentations, and audio. Additionally, it found adoptions in museums to automatically queue and sync up automatic lighting and visual presentations.

Introduction to Computer Science and Programming instructor for a group of high school students exploring careers in science and technology.Developed course curriculum, gave lectures, and created lab projects that introduced the students to functional and object-oriented programming.
