As a buyer, I managed the women's ready-to-wear business through product selection and assortment, inventory allocation and price management. I maximized profitability through reorders, transfers, product knowledge seminars and partnering with visual to feature key items.I supervised a merchandising assistant, and partnered with cross-functional teams including planning, merchandising, PR, visual and regional store managers.

As an associate planner, I built 51 pre-season plans, managed the OTB, negotiated RTVs and MDA, managed replenishment, assisted in writing assortment buys, analyzed subclass selling, and worked closely with site merchandising to ensure the optimal customer experience.

As a senior assistant buyer, I worked with vendors including Rag & Bone, Helmut Lang, Theyskens' Theory and Haute Hippie. I managed the OTB for two of my own vendors, built strong relationships with vendors, worked closely with the fashion office to identify key trends, partnered with marketing to choose advertising styles, put together pre-market subclass analyses, coordinated with store sales associates to get weekly/monthly feedback, made markdown decisions and managed a merchant assistant.
