I act as a bridge - connecting clients with specialists on projects to forge a united choreographed team.This allows me to inspire and influence people to exceed expectations. And that makes my heart soar. That’s because I love working with people. When I can do so in ways where everyone uncovers even more potential than they knew they had, I couldn’t be happier.Through this, I have met some amazing people. I lead meetings, organize agendas and make sure that all sides move forward on a product that everyone is proud of.On the specialists’ side, I connect with technical, compliance, billing, development and other hands-on experts and translate their work into a language our clients appreciate (and in ways so that the specialists feel that appreciation).On the client side, I work to grasp the technical languages they speak to uncover the spoken and unspoken aspirations. Then I dive deeper so we all work together to get somewhere the client didn’t realize was possible.Because I work as a liaison on the Relationship side and within Projects, I have the unique opportunity to inspire and influence to achieve outcomes that are more satisfying than what we could do in a vacuum. I forge common ground past conflict, giving time and space so what needs to be heard is and what needs to change and grow is given room to do so.And that thrills me.I anticipate needs and goals even when unspoken to bring in the right team members to offer additional services, cure disagreements, engage in relationship triage if warranted, support growth and encourage us all to rise to a higher place. Mostly, I keep my hand on the pulse of what is happening with the people involved because that is what I believe creating next level teams is about.I mobilize ancillary teams and specialists if additional layers of attention would benefit the project, the relationship or both. And I am excited to be able to look for ways that people can not just feel supported and appreciated, but highly valued.Working independently and with amazing strategic partners, including Principal Client Relationship Executive, Mike Shafer, Director of Compliance and Risk Management, B.J. This requires not only a warm, friendly style but also the ability to pace, adjust, re-direct focus, communicate effectively and maintain objectivity and independence while acting within applicable regulations and the client’s best interest.
