Code 3 Associates, a 501(c)3 nonprofit established in 1985 and based in Longmont, CO, is dedicated to providing professional animal disaster response and resources to communities, as well as providing professional training to individuals and agencies involved in animal-related law enforcement and emergency response.Our mission is accomplished through hands-on animal rescue and care operations during disaster events in the United States and Canada, with our team of 75+ professional responders around the country with highly trained response team leaders and dedicated volunteers, as well as BART (Big Animal Rescue Truck), our 82-foot mobile command center which allows us to accommodate eight team members in a zero resource environment for up to a week before needing to re-supply. Our animal welfare training seminars include animal cruelty training as well as specialized training for equines and other large animals. Code 3 continues to educate animal control officers and humane investigators nationwide to safely and effectively help those who have no voice.My role includes travel logistics and field coordination for our Disaster Response Team, as well as acting as Public Information Officer during a deployment. I manage social media outlets, press releases, and inquiries, and assist with special projects as needed. I respond to volunteer inquiries, and maintain the volunteer database, ensuring that qualifications and credentials remain current and up to date. In the off-season, I assist with creating graphics for social media and email communications promoting our virtual training series across multiple platforms.

ASAR Training and Response has been dedicated to training and education nationwide on technical animal rescue, and providing a professional, organized response to both large and small animal emergencies in the Kansas City metro area since 2005.ASAR is a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization relying solely on public support, corporate sponsorships, and private donations.ASAR provides internationally recognized training classes with attendees from around the world. Common training topics include: trailer accidents, technical large animal emergency rescue from mud, ice rescue, low/high angle rope rescue, swiftwater/boat operations, and wildfire evacuations. ASAR also serves as national disaster responders with Code 3 Associates Riders on the Storm animal rescue team. The ASAR Heavy Extrication division specializes in technical rope rescue applications with animals weighing over 3000 pounds, and is available to all types of exotic, wildlife, and large animal facilities for consultation, training, and response (if applicable). Our main focus is to provide assistance and training to facilities with large exotic animals. In addition, we work with specialty vendors to develop and test prototype tools and rescue equipment to help solve problems encountered by animal handlers and first responders to these XXL operations. My role includes travel logistics and field coordination, as well as managing social media outlets and press releases and inquiries.
