My drive as a business leader comes from a life-long fascination with finding creative solutions to help people solve problems. Working towards overcoming and breaking down obstacles, whether for myself or others, not only allows me the opportunity to challenge myself and continuously grow, but also brings me fulfillment in my career. As a Certified Public Accountant, I spent ten years as a Chief Financial Officer for a software and services company, where I was surrounded by technology. In 2017, I co-founded RAKE Digital Company and currently serve as CEO. RAKE is a Cloud Solutions Provider and Microsoft Solutions Partner in Infrastructure, working heavily in the Human Capital Management industry. Additionally, RAKE created Finlee, a SaaS application to help HCM providers reconcile and manage funds held on behalf of their end customers. While I still love a day full of accounting, since co-founding RAKE, I decided to go all in on technology and earned my Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification in 2019. I also currently hold Microsoft Azure Administrator, Azure Security Engineer, Azure Network Engineer, and Microsoft Data Analyst certifications.My husband (and RAKE’s CTO), Craig, and I have four daughters, who we guided towards starting a faith-based non-profit 501(c)(3) organization called KARE Society (https://KAREsociety.org). The mission of the non-profit is to help children in need, both at home and around the world. KARE Society sponsors poverty-stricken children around the world through Compassion International. We also are the Implementing Partner for CarePortal, a technology that connects local children in need with those who want to help, in Montgomery County, VA.I am driven by the belief that through innovation, collaboration, and compassion, we can make a meaningful impact in both the business world and our communities.
