In April 2017 Calder & Co, became Calders (1883) LLP and I was admitted to the partnership.As a partner I am now fully responsible for building my own portfolio of clients providing the full range of services offered across the firm in accounts, audit and tax advice.

Calders is a unique firm of accountants. A mix between old traditions and forward thinking which often goes far above the expectations of new clients. A truly general practice offering audit, accounts preparation, tax (corporation tax, self-assessment, VAT and PAYE) and other, more unusual work including due diligence, tax enquiries, professional letters and tax planning and modelling. Our clients vary in size and type from small sole traders and landlords to the UK subsidiaries of large international groups.Calders has enabled me to obtain the ACCA practicing certificate and audit qualification, become a member of the ICAEW and the CTA

Accounts production and tax computations including VAT, Corporation Tax and Self Assessment.All accounts were prepared using full, manual, extended trial balance. This old school method of accounts preparation instilled a strong understanding of double entry and of the mechanics of journals. It provides a fabulous base on which to build higher level and more modern accounting skills.

A temporary role which became a permanent position. Accounts to trial balance stage, audits, bookkeeping and charity accounts.
