I'm passionate about working with clients to navigate complex litigation and improve their relationships with their outside counsel.I founded JF Connolly Consulting LLC to give government clients what many private companies have--a fractional general counsel to manage their litigation. I help my clients oversee their litigation and weigh whether and how to hire outside counsel, so that they can devote more time to other policy objectives in their offices.I started my career as an Assistant Attorney General and for over 25 years have acted as lead counsel in some of the country's largest and most substantial litigation. I've represented state attorneys general and all types of local government clients. I've been co-lead counsel in consumer class actions.
