I lead a team that works directly with philanthropists to support their giving. Where donor interests align with those of the foundation, we facilitate partnerships, co-funding, and matchmaking. I also lead Gates Philanthropy Partners, a public charity that allows donors—at any level—to give alongside the foundation to support its priority issues.

I led a team that develops partnerships to scale up funding for innovations and programs that save and improve lives in the poorest parts of the world. In 2016, I launched Gates Philanthropy Partners, a public charity for people interested in co-funding strong, vetted programs alongside the foundation.

I developed strategies and key relationships to build the foundation's presence in the Middle East and mobilize private donors worldwide. This led to the Global Vaccine Summit in 2013 in the UAE, co-hosted by Bill Gates, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, and UN Secretary General Ban Ki Moon, raising $4 billion to end polio.

I developed advocacy strategies--including an early approach for neglected tropical and other infectious diseases--with a focus on building constituencies, mobilizing resources from governments and philanthropy, and identifying and creating new organizations such as the END Fund.

Special projects focused on philanthropy, grantee fundraising, the Middle East, and a relationship management framework.
