Hickory Elementary

I was elected to be Hickory PTA President for 2015-16 SY. The role of PTA President covered a wide range of activities that required one to be a leader, team player, organizer, communicator, scheduler, fundraiser, writer, money handler. I lead a team of elected officers and chairpersons to offer PTA sponsored events and programs at Hickory Elementary.

I was the Chairperson for the PTA run library at Hickory Elementary for 2 school years. I oversaw the running of Hickory Library. I organized volunteers to cover weekly library classes for about 34 teachers which included about 935 students coming to the library throughout the week. During my last term, I continued to run the Hickory Library while taking.
