With over 15 years of nursing experience and a graduate degree from The Ohio State University' FNP program, I am excited to continue enhancing my career as a nurse practitioner in the Cincinnati area. Over the past 8 years since graduating, I have increased my knowledge base in the pediatric private practice setting conducting check ups and seeing same day acute visits. In addition to my APRN license, I am certified as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) to provide lactation support to new moms and their babies.I have confidence in my ability to connect with patients and provide primary care management within the exam room, and collaborate with other members of the health care. My education and experience has been very thorough didactically and clinically; however, I am comfortable in asking questions and seeking knowledge from available resources to ensure evidenced-based practice is provided. I am versatile, positive and willing to go the extra mile to provide the best care to the patients I come in contact with. I also have experience using electronic medical records, such as EPIC, NextGen, Office Practicum and Athena.I am passionate about making patient connections and educating patients on lifestyle choices and disease processes. I recognize that family-centered care is an important part of any medical practice and I enjoy looking for new resources for my patients.
