This department has integrated 127 locations that service over 3 million patients. Serve as a liaison between Athena and Boston Software for chart capture and automation. During my time as manager of EMR processing I was also responsible for both Integration and processing. After lean initiatives and a kaizen in 2016, it was decided that EMR would be separated into two departments due to growth. At that time, I took on the newly created role of EMR integrations manager. From the creation of the department we have added two additional employees to the staff that I directly manage. The integrations team is continually monitoring and troubleshooting issues with multiple departments to increase efficiency and help the company cultivate revenue.
