About Jennifer Bechel
The most important question I have ever asked in my life is "Why?". I entered into the research field in college and I have never stopped asking the same question. The question has developed and grown, with each expansion of my career, bringing a new depth to the simple “Why?".I currently act as a Project Manager to lead Phase 1 clinical trials from award through study close out. This includes coordination of internal team members, vendors and sub-contractors. I am familiar with a variety of clinical trial applications including CTMS, RAVE, Lablink, eTMF, Veeva Vault, Microsoft Project and various others. I interact directly with sponsors to develop a strategy for early phase clinical trial execution. I oversee study activities including developing plans, timelines, and risk management to meet contractual, regulatory, and Sponsor requirements. I work on a variety of studies encompassing a range of indicators. I have become specialized in Renal and Hepatic studies which has grown to into a motivating passion. When I stepped into Clinical Pharmaceutical Studies focusing on the clinical development, it changed my life. It was humbling to realize how much impact a team could have on the lives of so many people. I found myself learning, teaching, and becoming a leader. Rather than just asking, I am answering the questions, developing the department, creating the blueprint for running future trials, and training fellow staff who will conduct them. As I have grown within my career, my question has evolved: "Why is this done this way, and what can make it better?” I am in love with my job and excited to share my passion with the teams that I lead. I want to continue in the pharmaceutical development field and strive to become the best version of myself that I can be as a project manager.
Listed skills include Clinical Research, Strategic Planning, Management, Pharmaceutical Industry, and 49 others.
