I worked as a Spanish teacher in Chicago, IL and taught all levels of Spanish including students with special needs and also Advanced Placement. I used Vista Higher Learning products for the majority of my career giving me a unique first hand experience of the VHL texts and website from the perspective of a teacher, further enhancing my ability to assist current teachers in their implementation of the VHL materials. In 2008 I started working as a freelance language consultant specializing in Sales Presentations of VHL materials to teachers and administrators and as a trainer of Middle School and High School teachers in their implementation of VHL products into their own language classrooms. I have also presented and trained at workshops for World Language Conferences.In 2013 I started full time as a Modern Language Specialist for VHL in the great states of Illinois and Michigan at the higher education level. I value the unique opportunity that I have as a conduit of information and great ideas between the professors I work with. In my position I am able to use my experience and education to discuss language pedagogy and build relationships with language professors like myself.
