Jennifer is the Postdoctoral Research Associate at Shakespeare at Notre Dame. She researches early modern drama with a specific interest in terms of endearment and the relationship between text and performance. Her scholarship characteristically magnifies quirky details and contradictions in order to arrive at new affordances. She is deeply committed to empowering female voices within dramatic narratives and combating gender inequality by championing mutuality and solidarity.Jennifer has also worked as a managing editor for the Religion & Literature journal, and has taught fifteen sections of composition and literature courses for the Departments of English and Writing and Rhetoric, as well as three sections for the Department of Film, Television, and Theatre. Previously, Jennifer worked as a Program Instructor at the Close Up Foundation, providing civic education for youth from around the USA and its territories.
