 Oversaw two Supplier related ESG programs (Supplier Social Responsibility Program “SSRP” and Conflict Minerals “CM”) for BH, a $20B energy technology company with 40,000+ suppliers. Expanded SSRP to screen and assess direct material and service providers for social risks. Worked cross-functionally to evaluate the program against current/upcoming country regulations on Human Rights. Met annual required Form SD disclosure for CM to the SEC. Evolved program to support suppliers in mitigating risk of CM in their supply chain and strengthening their programs.  Managed the supply chain due diligence program involving 600+ high-risk suppliers working closely with Leadership, Legal Compliance and Supply Chain Controllership. Fought for updates in tools to identify and flag high risk suppliers and their transactions. Owned the ERM initiatives around supplier risk and annual mitigation improvement plans including development and execution of quarterly monitoring. Governance over Sourcing and Procurement policies and procedures. Served as liaison for Internal Audit in their evaluations and findings. Led investigations and served as case manager for Supplier related Code of Conduct concerns.

 Presided over the Supplier Quality Council who were responsible for supplier product quality for $7B+ direct material spend. Led council meetings for collaboration of best practices in the merging of the two businesses.  Governance over and execution of the enterprise-wide supplier quality policies and procedures. Amended the enterprise-wide policies for product companies to create procedures outfitted to their specifications. Worked with Digital Technology and Quality on selection of a new quality management platform.

 Developed and executed global strategy for $100M+ fastener and spring spend across 200+ locations. Leveraged buy across the globe expanding into emerging market supply base. Negotiated supply agreement with preferred supplier resulting in 25% savings on $3M spend.  Optimized supply base, a 60% reduction, to improve quality, cost, and on-time delivery. Created and managed synergy projects to enable effective merger of Baker Hughes Incorporated and GE Oil & Gas.

 Led a global team of supplier quality engineers overseeing 6 manufacturing sites and partnering with 1370+ suppliers on product quality for $100M+ direct material spend. The team executed 176 qualifications with some directly supporting $5.6M of material cost out. Supplier Recovery Leader who drove 80% recovery utilizing the eSupplier Recovery platform. Worked cross-functionally to negotiate $181K of recovery from a supplier due to a product recall. Developed the team to perform as project managers for material cost out and new product introduction qualifications to keep the projects on schedule.

 Owned the sourcing strategy focused on cash, deflation, and fulfillment for the Masoneilan Control Valve business. Led a global team of 20+ employees managing $200M+ direct material spend. Developed and implemented deflation strategies to drive $10M+ of deflation. Grew emerging market supply base for castings, forgings, and electronics. Led integration of supply base into GE involving transitioning to GE Ts&Cs. Improved cash position through supplier negotiations on pay terms. Worked with the finance team to implement the Trade Payables Services program for the two US manufacturing sites. Executed projects with the engineering direct material team for total material cost-out which included 3D printing initiatives.

 Managed the capital spend of proprietary Thin Film Equipment for a solar panel factory in CO. Delivered $2M in savings (29% under budget) by executing an eAuction for industrial ovens.  Led integration of Primestar Solar’s direct material supply base into GE and moved 75% of that supply base from Net 30 to Net 120 pay terms. Mentored the Sourcing and Procurement team on GE sourcing tools and metrics to be able to work more productively and in compliance.  Migrated the waste removal to GE approved suppliers resulting in 25% in annual savings.

 Led a team of buyers responsible for the cost, quality, and fulfillment of $100M direct spend for a global industrial controls project-based business.  Key point of contact for all project sourcing issues globally. Worked closely with quality and engineering teams to resolve quality issues with suppliers to mitigate impact on customer projects. Liaison with engineering on direct material productivity initiatives.
